Long-term performance: Degradation and scaling of material can be prevented by using polymer pipes such as PVC-O pipes. This is because of their excellent chemical resistance and superior mechanical properties that PVC-O possessed. Hence, leakages and breakages can be avoided during its service life. PVC-O material also have a longer useful life of 100 years in comparison to other pipe materials such as HDPE, Ductile Iron and Steel.
